But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
How to do you know who is a Christian? Can you tell by the way they look? Or can you see inside the person like an X-ray machine. God is very specific about us showing the world that we are Christians. The world says an eye for an eye. Which actually is an Old Testament scripture. But hate is the world’s defense against abuse. You would think people would have enough of hate and get rid of it. It not so. They stockpiled it. God has a different way of handling abuse. As long as man will not listen to God there will be abuse in this world. God’s answer is to love you neighbor. He wants you to do good to people. By this way you might reach some of them. This is the only way to prove who God really is.
