The bible says that God is an all-consuming fire. I have seen this fire. I have seen it fill a church. I have seen it in individuals. I have seen it consume a community. And more importantly, to consume me. The fire is God Himself. To walk into the fire of God is one of the most exhilarating things you will ever do. I have seen people run in terror because of their sins. In fire of God, all things are revealed. God shines the light of His fire on everyone. And God sees everything. But God already knew what was inside of our heart. What He is wanting, is for us to see what is there. When you do see, then to hand it to God freely. Then God will burn it away and cleanse our heart. When you see the fire of God, walk into it. Let God surround you and show you how much He loves us.

We are the children of Adam and Eve. What happened to them in the garden of Eden, has happened to us. They were casted out of the garden and had to work hard to eat. God cursed the earth, that it wouldn’t yield its fruit unless man tilled the earth. Guess what we are made of? If you said the dust of the earth, you are right. And our body is cursed just like the earth. No physical body can stand before God. God doesn’t allow any sin in His presence. When Jesus took on the sin of the world on the cross, God had to look away. He let Jesus die, then God resurrected Him. Then God made Jesus King of kings and Lord of lords. Man has to plow the fields to make it yield its fruit. It is the same to reach God. We have to work at it, seeking God, reading His word and doing His will. Salvation is for those who finish the race. God said by the sweat of your brow shall you eat and satisfy your search for righteousness.

As you grow in the word and knowledge of God, He will place you in your position in the kingdom. Everybody has a part to play in the kingdom of God. No matter who or what you are, God will use you to further the kingdom. Now finding your place isn’t as easy as finding your desk in a classroom. So, what is your part? There are 3 things that God wants you to do from the get-go, pray, read and do. God begins with salvation, fellowship with God in prayer. Then you read His word to find out who God is. Then by faith, you step out and do the word of God in this world. It is that simple. As you go about your life on this earth, God will give you opportunity to reach and touch lives for Jesus. Pepole are in need and we have the truth. The truth that will change, not only our lives, but those around us and in the world. So, it is time to step out and reach a hurting soul.

As I accumulated knowledge and understanding, God began to send me out. I have always been a very shy person. If someone talked to me, I would reply. But if no spoke to me, I wouldn’t talk. It made for awkward situations. My parents bought a set of cyclopedias. I read most of them. I had a lot of knowledge, but very little social skills. God knew this when He began working with me. I had to become bold to tell people about God. God had several methods to get me moving. A side note, if you ask God for something, understanding, He will place you in the situation to use what you asked for. If you ask for patience, you will be tested to learn how it works. I was going to be sent to strangers to speak what God had told me. I had to muster all my courage to speak out. Guess what, God had already spoken to them. All I was doing, was confirming what God had already said. It still works the same way.

Although, I have graduated from the bible school on the backside of the desert, I am still a student. As Jesus graduated from Gamaliel’s yeshiva and became a rabbi, he continued to study and become a rabboni, a master teacher. I have continued my studies and am writing my dissertation, my blog, on Christianity. I am receiving my degree from God. Degrees meaning moving forward with God. As a student, I have to humble myself before God. Then God will speak and show me the truth of the gospel. I don’t use my knowledge as a weapon against people. My knowledge is to give hope in God and defend myself and others against spiritual wickedness in high places. It is funny, as I release myself to God, He comes in and defeats the enemy. People sing a song about King David, he would run through the enemy troops and was never defeated. This was because of God’s promise to him. I have the same promise and the same commitment as David, unto the death.

Just like the Apostle Paul, when you go to this bible school, you are the only student. I didn’t have classmates to help me or support me. When God instructed me, I had to walk through by myself. I had to trust God. Sometimes, I was blind and couldn’t see my way through. That is where faith and trust come into play. I wonder why I didn’t see anyone else going through the same thing. God didn’t want me comparing notes with anyone else. He wanted me to rely on His teaching. The bible is the truth. Even though it seems to contradict itself, it doesn’t. So, I had to muster my courage and walk out into the unknown. Sometimes it was in the valley of death. I had to be prepared to fight, God’s way, at any time. I’ll tell you a truth. It scared me sometimes to the point I was shaking. Then God would come through and win the battle. Just a Roman soldier was trained to defend 6 ft. of ground, so am I, unto the death.

I didn’t go to a formal bible college. In my pursuit of God, I wanted to know Him. So, God took me to His own private bible college. I had to become a student. The Apostle Paul went to the same school. Just like Paul, I had to unlearn things that were untrue. God began teaching me the truth of the His word. This also meant that my life or heart was opened to God. He shined His light on me and I saw many ugly things. God asked me for them, one by one. He knew I couldn’t deal with them all at once. It is never more than you are able. I studied the bible from one end to other. It took me a long time to read through because God would stop and teach me. I came to Chronicles of the Kings in the Old Testament. I read a scripture and ask God how it applies to me. The scripture said, and all the act of the king were written down in the books. God’s reply was this, all the acts of king Crain are written down in the books. All of His word applies to each of us for everyday life. Pray and read the bible. Ask God to help you each and every day. And you will be surprise at how much God loves you, as you are.

Decently and in order, everything must be done decently and in order. There is a rhythm to our life. It works to peak efficiency when your life is in order. Yes, there is a plan for our life. There is also a time schedule for our life. Everything must happen in a certain amount of time. It is part of the plan. No one knows how much time we have, except God. But God says, live your life as if it is the last day on earth. You see, we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. All that God guarantees is now. Today is the day and now is the time. Take advantage of the time that you are given. Fulfill your destiny with God. Who knows what God will give you. When you follow God, He will open your eyes to the possibilities. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to you. And in His presence, all thing are possible. I walked into the unknown. It scared me at first, but I learned to trust God. I have seen many miracles and fought many battles. And I an still here, after 40 years.

When you ask God for help or gifts, don’t be surprised when it comes upon you. God began opening my heart and mind to the things of the kingdom. It started with small objectives. I began with headaches. Then came larger objectives, like starting cars, bee and wasps and the weather. What God was doing was testing my faith, so it would grow. All this time, I was reading and studying the bible. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. It is a tool to work in the kingdom of God. It is just like a hammer or saw. If you want to be proficient with it, you have to use it. As you read the word of God, you begin to understand where faith can take you. It will take you from here to heaven. When you do, faith will bring God’s will to earth. Just read the Our Father prayer to see what God’s will do for you and others. And along the way, you will get to know our Father and our older brother, Jesus.

I soon began changing. The skeptic was fading into the past. The believer was finding new ways to develop. I would take on larger and larger challenges. God gave me 3 gifts to use in my life with Him. They are faith, word of knowledge and discerning spirits. The gift of faith is to be able to believe and allow God to work on this earth. The gift, word of knowledge, is to have God’s understanding. I would walk up to people and see their lives in a moment. One person walked up to me and shook my hand. I saw his entire life in a flash. I knew what had happened to him. The gift of discerning spirits lets me see into the other side, the spiritual world. I saw God, angels and devils. Angels are our brothers. They love to fellowship with us. Michael, the Arc angel is God’s right-hand man. He is enormous. His sword of fire is larger than me. He is so handsome that he is considered beautiful. I will continue my story tomorrow.
