On Facebook, there are pictures of babies, both human and animals. There is a whole bunch pictures of babies with puppies and kittens. There is a real fascination with babies. There are cute and cuddly. Who require a lot of effort to care for. Not so long ago, the same people were babies doing the same thing and we were fascinated with them. Life continues. The shame of it is that those babies don’t stay babies for very long. There is a season for everything, a time that comes and goes. The cycle of life is consistent and persistent. Time marches on and doesn’t stop to consider who we are or where we are going. In our lifetime, we become babies in every season of our life. Then we grow and mature into the person we are today. And depending on what we learn and use, depends on how our life will go. The babies today don’t care who is president or what fashion is in. As long as their life is full of food, clean diapers and love, they are happy. It is more than I can say of most of the population. Is that the only season where we are happy and contented? The bible talks about being happy and content. It says in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”(KJV) It’s time to learn something new.
