In Romans 14, Paul talked about not offending Christians who are new in the faith. He said that just because we have liberty in the Lord, we’re not to use it to cause someone else to sin or be offended. Paul would purchase meat in the market place that was offered up to idols. He knew that the idols we’re nothing. And it was a good source of cooked meat. But young Christians were being offended by it. So Paul stopped buying the meat. Because it was more important to love the young Christians than to feed his belly. We aren’t to judge those not as strong in the faith as we are. Jesus died for all of us. And they are His servants, not ours. “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. ” Romans 14:8 ( KJV).
