Ephesians 5 – vs.1,2 – Walk in love, as Christ. Rom.12:1 – Living Sacrifice.
vs.3-7 – Those who have no part in the kingdom of God:
1) whoremonger.
2) unclean person – lewd, demoniac, obscene.
3) covetous.
4) idolater.
5) speaking with filthiness.
6) foolish talking – spiritual, jousting, witticism.
7) jesting – silly talk, buffoonery, witless person given to coarse jokes.
vs.7 – Don’t partake with any of this. Matt.12:36,37.
vs.8 – Walk as Children of Light. 2 Cor.6:14-16. We are to prove what is good and acceptable to the Lord, by being separate from the world. When we do the will of the Father, we reprove the world of sin, thus bringing sin to light.
