Life and death are two sides of the same coin. Yet man is so afraid of death, that he will do anything not to die. The bible says that the fear of death keeps man in bondage all of his life. When Jesus descended into hell, He took the keys of death and hell away from the devil. Then took captivity captive and ascended into heaven with the saints. Jesus talked about this in Matthew 16. If you follow Jesus, you must deny yourself or consider yourself dead. Because once you die to self, death isn’t important to you. What is important is following Jesus. As Jesus put it, you find life. Matt.16:20 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the world and lose his own soul?” (KJV).
