In Matthew 22:15-22, Jesus and the disciples were in the temple. Jesus was there to be tried and tested to see if He was the true lamb of God. Jesus was and is the Passover lamb, sacrificed for our sins. Pharisees and religious leaders tempted Him again. They asked Him if it was right to pay tribute to Ceasar. Jesus asked them to show Him a Roman coin. He said who’s inscription is on the coin. They said Ceasar’s. Then Jesus said, render unto Ceasar the things that are Ceasar’s and unto God the things that are God’s. They were dumbfounded. But I’ll ask you, what are the things of God that we must give to God? The first thing is our life. We are bought with a price. We aren’t our own. We belong to God. I’ll ask you other question, does your life reflect Jesus in your life? So, what are the things of God that we render to God?
