I never liked waiting for anything. I always wanted it now. But that’s not reality. After all the Covid lockdown, jobs lost, hurricanes and other disasters, it’s voting day in America. I’m a real proponent of getting out to vote. I voted in my first presidential election in 1972. I voted for Richard Nixon because he had just ended the Vietnam war. I haven’t missed an election since. As an American, it is important that I exercise my freedom to vote. Many people across the world don’t have that freedom. It is to insure the peaceful transfer of power from one person to the next. Serving in politics use to be like serving in the military. It was and honor and privilege. Now it’s voting for the lesser of two evils. But still it’s a right to control our representative in government. So you Americans, go out and vote. Exercise you freedom as an American.
Crain Blanchard.
