No one realizes how fast 3 years go by. Time is never stationary. It is always moving forward. You turn round and you’re a young adult. Then you’re married with children. Then you have grandchildren. Then most of your life is behind you. I look at what is left and want to make it count for something. Jesus knew when he started there was an end to his ministry on Earth. When he set his face to go to Jerusalem the end was in sight. His earthly ministry was coming to an end. And he knew that he was going to die. He didn’t want to because he loves us and wanted to stay on Earth. But ever since he was small he knew that he had to be about his Father’s business. At the end Jesus knew the religious leaders wanted to kill him. Jesus was careful where he went. So the scribes pharisees and the religious leaders couldn’t catch him until it was time. Jesus had revealed He was the messiah. Most Israelites believed he was. Even the religious leaders knew and understood that Jesus was the messiah. The religious leaders prophesied that 1 must die to save the nation. As Jesus and the disciples approached Jerusalem, they stopped on the village of Bethphage. It’s near the mount of olives. Jesus had 2 disciples to go into the village and get a donkey to ride on into Jerusalem to fulfill scripture, Zechariah 9:9. Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem.
