In Matthew 18:1-6, Jesus and the disciples were in Capernaum. The disciples thinking like man, asked Jesus who is the greatest in the kingdom? Jesus took a child and placed him in the middle of the disciples. He said, unless you be converted and became as a child, you can’t enter into kingdom. He was saying that we have to humble ourselves before God. It means that we have to be vulnerable to this world. Why open ourselves to attack? People are looking for something that will not threaten them. It draws them in to recieve what Jesus is saying. Jesus also that any that harms one of his children, will be fighting against God. Jesus said it this way. It would be better if the person hung a milestone around his neck and were cast into the sea. Jesus was giving direction and protection to his family.
