In Matthew 21:28-32, Jesus was talking to the religious leaders in the temple. He tells them a story of two sons. He said that a man had two sons and asked one to go into the fields to work and he said no. But later repented and went and worked in the fields. The father went to the second son and asked him to go work. The second son said yes and didn’t go. Jesus said which did the father’s will? Then He said to the religious leaders that publicans and harlots will go into the kingdom of God before you. John the Baptist came preaching the way of righteousness and you didn’t believe him. But the publicans and harlots believed. So, tell me who will do the will of our Father?
