Don’t Cast away your Confidence.

These last two years haven’t inspired our confidence in anything. We had hoped that things would have turned out differently. With the worldwide pandemic, closing of many businesses, closing of our churches and the lack of confidence that our government could find the front door, we have become lost as a people. Not trusting anyone and being afraid of most everything, what are we to do? Before we can believe, we must have hope that things can work out. Which means that we have to have confidence in something. Look around that this fake world that is full of things that try to satisfy us. And nothing really does. We want something real. I have lived a long time and have found only one thing that is real in my life. It is centered around a person who is real and alive. That person is Jesus Christ. His promises that have come true in my life are real and build confidence in Him. Jesus has never left alone and walked away. Even in the bad times, He has stayed by my side. I have confidence in Jesus. As the world goes to hell in a hand basket, Jesus is keeping me safe in His arms. My confidence is justified in Him.

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” (Hebrews 10:35,36 KJV).
